Texture, Blue Cheese, & Spiritual Warfare

I am determined to enjoy my life no matter what.

Might I start with the more weightier matter – spiritual warfare. To wake out of a depressive attack is by the grace of God. It is better to not be available to attack in the first place. But spirits of depression, oppression, fear, anxiety, loneliness, and suicide are gangs of spirits from satan to steal, kill, and destroy the lives of precious people. Whether a person is a Christian or not, the enemy does not discriminate. But for Christians, we do get a warning from the word of God to not be ignorant of satan’s devices. However, these spirits are also very seductive. They provide a counterfeit comfort or sense of relief. It can almost feel like it’s normal to feel like all of the above-mentioned spirits, but those feelings and thoughts are all lies because satan is a liar; it is impossible to operate in truth.

  1. God does not make us feel depressed. Even when our faith is tested, God has made us the head and not the tail. Above only and not beneath. -Deuteronomy 28:13
  2. The word of God says, “In righteousness, you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me, whoever assembles [depression, oppression, fear, doubt, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, etc.] against you shall fall for your sake. – Isaiah 54:14-15 NKJV
  3. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. -1 Timothy 1:7
  4. We can trust God with everything and be anxious for nothing. -Philippians 4:16
  5. God is with us. He will never leave us nor abandon us. -Joshua 1:9
  6. God got us. -Psalm 103:1-5

One of the things I realized I was doing wrong was not guarding my heart and mind. I was allowing anything to come and live rent-free in my mind. Avoiding and trying to escape reality and responsibility, all of which are contrary to the will of God. Great is God’s mercy and grace towards me – seriously.

I would not survive without God’s grace because I often feel unqualified for the life God has called me to live. Like God, are You sure? Have you seen me? So many scriptures confirm that not only does God see me now, but He saw me before time began and was well aware of all of me. Called me and loves me still. That’s another thing about spiritual warfare trying to cloud God’s love for us, which is something that can never be broken.

I am starting to like different cheeses, which is a new thing for me. I have been interested in different textures, both in materials and within the perspective of life.
