I’m having a rare moment, and I’m not quite sure how to handle it because it’s new and exciting. As I embrace another year, I’ve noticed changes within myself, sparking an interest in things I never paid much attention to before.
Lately, I’ve been feeling the urge to explore my feminine side, diving into the world of fashion and beauty. Despite being content with my bare-faced baby look, I’ve decided to give the whole makeup thing a try. The only challenge? I didn’t grow up wearing makeup, so I’m diving into the basics with a little help from Google, YouTube & Pinterest.
My current makeup stash may be expired and not matching my current color, but I’m determined to revamp my look. I recently stumbled upon a fashion inspiration that felt so “me” – a coat that, of course, came with a hefty $4,000 price tag. It made me chuckle, but hey, if it gives, it gives!
As I navigate this girly girl phase, I find myself yearning for the company of like-minded friends. If you’re a woman of God with the know-how in makeup and fashion, I could use a guide in this new territory. Help a sister out as I learn the ropes of enhancing my beauty game.
And let’s not forget my recent adventures in heels – a newfound love that has surprisingly become a weekly part of my routine. It’s time to step up the shoe game, followed by upgrades to the face game and, eventually, the hair game.
Speaking of hair, a big shoutout to the new tools that have come to my rescue in detangling my thick hair. Now, even between washes, I can maintain a blowout look without the hassle. Praise the Lord for those little mercies!
