There he is. Punctual as usual. We agreed to meet here in LA at Sunset Tower. This hotel has history and the vintage look that I like. We have separate rooms of course, we have to be smart about this kind of thing.
He does look rather good over there. Deep melanin skin, thick body, and a nice firm booty. I chose well. This evening will yield fruits I shouldn’t eat but hey it’s not like we’ve learned our lesson.
We made eye contact as I walked by him. He gave me a nod with a ‘I ain’t playing with you’ kind of look. He knows I like that. I hope he doesn’t play with me. I need all of my respect tonight.
“I work with ol girl right there,” Asa said to her homegirl Erra.
“Who?” Erra looked around suspiciously.
“Her right there, with the locs.” Asa is pointing with her head. “She’s eyeing the heck out of ol’ boy over there.”
“Shoot he’s fine, fine,” Erra said with an unholy facial expression.
“I think she’s married though,” Asa said, “yeah, she is because I remember when she got her new ring. Look, Asa motioning, “she ain’t even wearing it.”
“Now, now we can’t go on assuming things about her.” Erra wisely said, “sis could be getting her ring cleaned or something.”
“Yeah, yeah you’re right,” Asa replied.
“When we see another sis doing her thing we mind our own business.” Erra continued to speak with wisdom.
“Amen,” Asa agreed.
“Amen. We came here to enjoy ourselves, turn up and have a drama-free weekend.” Erra said taking authority over the weekend. “I didn’t fly from DC to LA to be worrying about anything but having a good time with my home skillet biscuit from 6th grade.”
“Yassss, we’re getting lit tonight,” Asa said with excitement.
Nightingale Plaza
“Mmm… y’all LA folks get down differently.” Erra laughably said while scanning the nightclub.
“Whatcha mean?” Asa said with a confused slightly offended look on her face.
“What is this atrocity going on on the dance floor? Y’all get down down” Erra continued to laugh making her way towards the dance floor.
“Oh ah ah. Ain’t that’s ol girl from your job and ol boy she was eyeing at the hotel?
“Where?” Asa said unashamedly looking around.
“Right there!” Erra rudely pointed at the center of the dance floor.
“Wooooooow!” Asa said completely shook.
“Look, look she’s not wearing her ring and he has that ring finger tan,” Erra said loudly. “They are out here cheating on their spouses!!”
“I thought you said we were going to mind our own business? Asa – a reminder of the wise words she spoke earlier. “Ain’t that’s what you said, ‘when you see another sis doing her thing we mind our own business.”
“Nooo, not with this kind of foolishness, I hate cheaters!” Erra said angrily and loudly.
“Oh, look they’re leaving together!” Asa said.
Uber
Oh, look at him being a gentleman opening up the car door for me. His timing is always so perfect. His face is hard to read. I can never tell if he’s enjoying himself, not that I care. I’m just here to get what I need. Which is such a peculiar and unruly need that has me in the backseat of an Uber in LA like a deferred dream ready to explode. He slightly touches my knee as the bumpy LA roads make this situation even more dangerous. He knows I want him, as he plays it cool. My need doesn’t require me to be needed back so he can play cool guy all he wants.
Asa & Erra are still at Nightingale Plaza
“Listen, they already left so let’s just enjoy our time like we said we were going to do,” Asa is speaking with wisdom now.
“What?! You’re just going to let them get away?” Erra said angrily.
“What do you mean let them get away? What am I supposed to do? Asa said strongly confused.
“Tell on them.”
“Tell who?” Asa said still confused, looking at Erra like she’s crazy.
“Anybody, don’t you work with Mrs. Cheater?”
“Yes, and? Who am I supposed to tell at work?”
“Everybody,” Erra said confirming that she might be crazy.
“Everybody?! You want me to just go to work and yell to the entire company that she’s a cheater?!” Asa said not wanting anything to do with this.
“No, no we are better than that. I have pictures. Got ’em while they were leaving.” Erra said proudly.
“Nooooo…” Asa said with an interesting and curious tone.
“Yes, I hate cheaters, I catch ’em like Pokémon,” Erra said knowing that Asa has a history of being cheated on.
“I mean… that could work. She’s getting an award and I am presenting it to her at our company’s annual banquet.”
“Yasssss! That’s our ram in the thicket!” Erra said with an unhealthy amount of excitement.
Sunset Tower Hotel
Let me use the last bit of self-control I have to maintain my composure. Let me remain the lady that I am. I am a lady indeed just a lady with needs. Heading into the elevator, thankfully someone is going up as well, or else this would turn into a movie scene. Hmm, one day. I motioned him to stop on my floor because it is unladylike to be seen leaving a man’s hotel room at ungodly hours. My room is at the end of the hall, I tugged on his shirt to pick me up because it’ll be disrespectful to let me walk all over there, especially while I’m in heat…
He’s been a gentleman all night, let’s not ruin that.
He found my room key where I hid it… He opened the door slowly and he shut it behind us with controlled aggressive authority. At this point I … [I will spare your holy eyes the details of this event. Just know all of her needs were met.]
Instead of Asa and Erra enjoying their weekend doing normal things in LA, they spent it plotting to expose Asa’s cheating co-worker. Asa and Erra stalked out of the hotel lobby early the next morning until they saw the co-worker and the guy. The co-worker and the guy didn’t leave the hotel together but they met up at a specific rendezvous point. Asa and Erra managed to track them down and found them eating brunch.
Brunch
“Girl, this is way more fun than what we had planned,” Asa said trying to act discreetly.
“We have to order food so we don’t look crazy. I’m hungry anyway, being a cheater catcher is hard work.” Erra said.
“Amen,” Asa responded.
“We have to make sure we have enough pictures and we can even add a video,” Erra said cooking up the plan.
“Yes, I can have my tech guy edit it in her introduction,” Asa said while taking not-so-discreet pictures of them.
“When is the banquet?”
“Thursday,” Asa said.
“This Thursday?” Erra said getting more excited.
“Yep. We are doing this for all of the people who have been cheated on.” Asa is recalling her past.
“And, they are just straight up selfish! They are both married and both are cheating on their spouses, like bruh I just want one man.” Erra said remembering her troubles of finding a suitable man in the first place.
“Even worse they’re both black! They are making the entire black community look bad.” Asa said emotionally.
“Yes, we have to expose them for the culture. We have to police our people to make us better overall. We can live-stream it and everything. We are going to blow up!” Erra said thinking of the possibility of going viral.
“Look, they’re leaving,” Asa continued to take pictures.
“Let ’em go, we already have enough evidence,” Erra said laughingly.
After the exciting weekend Asa had with Erra being cheater catchers, she was more excited to go to work than ever before. Asa usually prays hard on Mondays to get her through the week but today she didn’t even need to. All day at work she was happy, smiling, and more talkative than usual. She even ran into the cheating co-worker a few times who was all of a sudden wearing her wedding ring. The cheating co-worker has everyone fooled thinking she’s such a good godly woman but Asa will expose her for the low-down dirty hog that she is.
All week long Asa played nice with Mrs. Cheater while carrying out the plot to expose her.
Thursday at the Company’s Annual Banquet
Asa, wearing her good dress, moved about graciously on the banquet floor making sure her phone was set up for the live stream and letting Erra know that everything was good to go. The first award for the evening just so happens to go to the cheater. Everyone is sure to find the tea exceptionally good today.
Asa presenting the award
“Good evening everyone, I am Asa Verne and I am honored to present the Outstanding Achievement award to Mrs. Morgan Johnson. Mrs. Johnson has achieved an innumerable number of outstanding things and we would be here all day if I told you of all of them. Instead, I will simply show you.” Asa proudly turned towards the large screen as the video showed the actual things that Mrs. Johnson accomplished. Then, loud ratchet music started playing with a slideshow of pictures taken by the cheater catchers themselves.
The video ended as Asa turned back to see the look on Mrs. Johnson’s face and everyone at the banquet. As she loudly announced, “Ladies and gentlemen I present to you, your Outstanding Cheater!”
The entire banquet was stunned and completely silent. Morgan was in total shock and her face had turned red from embarrassment. As Asa continued to proudly stand at the podium, someone far off yelled “That’s her husband!”
“What?” Asa said slightly confused.
“That’s her husband.” They yelled again.
“Is that your husband?” Asa scarily asked Mrs. Johnson
“Yes,” she nodded.
Asa immediately ran off the podium and out of the banquet leaving her phone still live-streaming. Morgan got the courage to step up to the podium and said, “I truly apologize for all of this. My husband and I were just role-playing. Thank you for the award.”
Mrs. Morgan Johnson exited the banquet silently, thankful that she had already put in her two weeks’ notice and used her paid days off for those two weeks.
Morgan texted her husband “Babe, we’re gonna need to find a new rendezvous point.”
